I've always liked the color orange and it's meaning has evolved along with my life. I have fond memories of orange smelly markers, and beautiful sunsets on the ocean.

When I was in high school orange started evolving into a sort of good luck charm. I would wear it everywhere and it came to sort of symbolize gratitude for the beautiful life that I have been allowed to lead.

There was a point when I wrote here that orange symbolized Truth, but I've taken a different path towards Truth, recently, and I'm not sure if it's right to conflate that path towards Truth with the color orange. Orange continues to be symbolic of gratitude for me, though. Every day it represents a thank you for the next breath I take and the next beautiful moment I'm given the privilege of living through.
